Thriller Theater[1] was a kid-friendly horror venue that aired on New York City television station WOR-TV (Channel 9) from 1971 to 1972.
It aired on weekday afternoons from 4:30 PM to 6 PM and had a film library consisting mainly of classic movies from the Universal and RKO vaults (though not limited to those two studios).
The opening of the program consisted of still shots of famous classic monsters.
